Opheim, Montana

Picture
Named for early settler Alfred Opheim, Opheim is ten miles south of the Opheim Port of Entry on the Saskatchewan border. The community was originally sited a few miles west of the present location; in 1926, when a Great Northern branch line arrived in the area, Opheim relocated to the Great Northern station.
Opheim is a small town with a close-knit community of residents. Opheim is 10 miles away from the port to Canada.
